Dr. Goldberg relocated with her husband and three children to Santa Barbara in 2010 from Hartford, CT. After 11 years in a busy private Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Connecticut, Dr. Goldberg opened a solo practice in Santa Barbara, providing gynecologic care in a high-quality, low volume setting. Dr. Goldberg is thrilled to join forces with Dr. Margaret Echt with whom she has enjoyed a collegial relationship since arriving in Santa Barbara. Together, they look forward to providing their patients personalized, proactive, and in-depth care.
Dr. Goldberg is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed by the state of California. She was featured on the cover of Connecticut Magazine as one of the top three physician-recommended doctors for women in Connecticut. She was recognized again by Connecticut Magazine in their “Top Docs” issue.
Dr. Goldberg received her undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a highly competitive six-year accelerated BA/MD program. Dr. Goldberg received her residency training at the University of Connecticut, where she received both the Heart and Hands Award for Outstanding Gynecologic Patient Care and the Excellence in Endoscopic Gynecology Award, given by the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists. Dr. Goldberg was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut and taught OB/GYN residents in training. Dr. Goldberg is married to Bryan Goldberg, MD, an Emergency Physician at Cottage Hospital. They have three young adult children who are proud alumni of their alma mater, Cal and Stanford. The entire Goldberg family is grateful to the Santa Barbara community for welcoming them to this beautiful place.
